Overview
BOSCA PIZZA is Ireland’s first retail cooking terminal for homemade pizza an innovative food offering service that’s open 24/7. The new company approached Kola Digital to create a new brand identity for this innovative concept which is brand new in Ireland.
Firstly we met the client and conducted an online brainstorming session to find out more about what the brand ethos will be and what the client liked and didn’t like. We presented ideas and themes to understand the client’s styles and ideas. We then presented three different types of mood boards based on the feedback from the online session. This was the basis for the brand design.
The New Brand
We created a fresh and natural look through the use of fresh ingredients and the new brand colours, red and grey. The background of the cream-style wood finish gives a sleek look to the brand. The idea of the use of a box and a unique logo mark symbolises the product as a to-go pizza takeaway service. Incorporating the Irish name for box ‘Bosca’ was to unify the offering to the marketplace.
Website, Brochure
The website was designed to showcase the new brand and retail terminal options. The business aims to create a national presence and the website is a touch point for business development. Once new locations are launched further development will include an interactive map with all locations.
Before the brand launched the client needed a physical piece of collateral to help showcase the brand in meetings, we developed a 4-page A4 brochure to showcase the brand as a real neighbourhood service offered by pizza professionals with key elements such as fresh, contactless, and open 24/7.
First Location
Once the first location was confirmed it was all hands-on deck to design the new head office and retail location and launch in December 2022. The building had a lot of large windows which was great to showcase the brand and education the new audience about what Bosca Pizza is.
