Kildare-Based Business Kola Digital Delivers Pro Bono Website for Animal Charity and Choses Relay for Life Kildare as their Charity Partner for 2026
As a Kildare-based digital agency we have donated both time and expertise to support animal rescue, Kola Digital successfully delivering a brand-new website for Last Hope Animal Charity completely free of charge.
The new website marks a significant milestone for the much-loved rescue organisation, which supports animals across Meath through rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming.
Founded by Hilary Bartley in 2004, Last Hope Animal Charity has grown into a vital, volunteer-led organisation. Operating as a foster-based rescue, it relies on a dedicated network of volunteers and foster families who open their homes to animals until they are ready to find their forever homes.
Recognising the importance of a strong online presence for charities, Kola Digital stepped in to deliver the full website project on a pro bono basis, helping Last Hope expand its reach, raise awareness and connect with more supporters.
The new website has been designed to make it easier for the public to get involved, with features allowing users to browse animals available for adoption, learn about rehoming, explore volunteering opportunities, and support the charity through online purchases.
Speaking at the launch, Secretary Megan Byrne said:

Your creativity, patience, and attention to detail made the whole process so easy, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

This initiative reflects Kola Digital’s ongoing commitment to supporting community and charitable organisations, using its expertise to make a meaningful impact beyond commercial projects.
As part of this commitment, Kola Digital has chosen Relay For Life Kildare as its charity partner for 2026.
In 2025 alone, funds raised through Relay For Life Kildare enabled the Irish Cancer Society to deliver vital services across the county, including 2,145 free lifts to bring patients to and from cancer treatment, 341 free counselling sessions for people affected by cancer, and 233 nights of Night Nursing care, allowing patients to spend their final days at home surrounded by loved ones.
