LinkedIn is where people check you before a meeting, before a pitch, before deciding whether to reply to your email. The banner sits across the top of the screen at full width, above everything else, and on most profiles it’s still the default blue gradient or a stock photo of a city skyline that says nothing about the business.
That space is free advertising you already own. Solid LinkedIn design turns it into something that answers the visitor’s actual question: what do you do, and why should they keep reading.

What you get
One custom cover, built for the format you need. Personal profile and company page use different ratios and crop in different places, so tell us which one it’s for. If you need both, they’re quoted as two.
Design matched to your branding. Your colours, your type, your logo where it belongs. If you already have brand guidelines we work inside them. If not, we pull from your logo and whatever else you’re running so the banner doesn’t sit at odds with your website.
Headline, services or contact information, arranged with a hierarchy. One line leads. Everything else supports it. A banner listing nine services in the same size text reads as noise and nobody finishes it.
Profile-photo safe positioning. On a personal profile the photo overlaps the banner near the bottom-left on desktop and sits differently on mobile, and the mobile view crops the sides in. Anything important stays clear of both. This is the most common failure in DIY LinkedIn design: text that looks balanced in Canva and ends up half-hidden behind a headshot.
Two rounds of revisions. Wording changes, colour adjustments, image swaps, layout shifts. Send your notes in one batch rather than one at a time.
Final file as JPG or PNG, exported to the current LinkedIn spec for the format you’ve asked for. Upload it and it fits.
Editable source file. Job title changes, you add a service, the phone number moves. Update it yourself instead of paying for the whole thing again.
Consultants, coaches, recruiters, agency owners, anyone doing outbound where the profile gets opened before the reply gets sent. Also any company LinkedIn page that’s been sitting untouched since somebody set it up in a rush three years ago.
If you’ve rebranded and your LinkedIn page still carries the old colours, that’s worth fixing before your next campaign. Same if you’re hiring: candidates look at the page, and an abandoned LinkedIn page tells them more about the company than the job ad does.
A banner on its own is one asset. Banner, profile image, post templates and document covers all pulling in the same direction is social media branding design, and that’s what makes a LinkedIn page look like it belongs to a functioning business rather than an account somebody opened once.
We offer this as a single item or as part of wider professional branding services covering the full set. If you want the whole thing quoted together, say so in your brief and we’ll price it before any work starts. Buying it piecemeal usually costs more in the end, though there’s no obligation to take the larger package.
Turnaround depends on current workload and how fast the brief comes back. We confirm a date when the job is booked.
The more of that arrives in the first email, the fewer rounds it takes. Vague briefs produce vague LinkedIn design, and both of us end up spending revisions on something one sentence could have settled.
They’re different sizes and crop differently, so we build them separately. Tell us which one you need. Both can be done, priced as two.
Yes. Mobile crops the sides and shifts the profile photo, so every layout is checked in both views before delivery.
Send the URL with your brief. Pulling colour and type from a live site is normal here.
Yes, and the same artwork usually extends across them. Each platform is quoted separately because the ratios differ. Full social media branding design across every channel is available as a package.
That’s what the source file is for. Change a title or a number yourself rather than commissioning new LinkedIn design every quarter.
Two rounds. Beyond that is quoted hourly, or you can bundle it into a wider professional branding services retainer if changes are frequent.
